Heaton Bay is extremely scenic and relaxing. It is an easy bike to Frisco for provisions. Walmart, whole foods, great coffee places…. Then back to a nice natural environment.

Very nice stop, close but not too close to I-80. Quiet. Nice lakeside setting.

This RV park has a good number of riverside spots, which are delightful. Lots of trees, and dense but not too dense packing. Biking distance to downtown salida. It is along the road, and on a slope-- it might be the case that the spots at the top, near the road, are noisy. Not an issue for the riverside spots.
