CAMPER SUMMARY PRESENTED BYFord

Flying Saucer RV Park, near Sheridan, Colorado, is a straightforward spot for RV travelers looking for a place to park and rest. This location is primarily geared towards longer stays, catering mostly to those who call it home rather than just passing through.

The park offers essential amenities like electric hookups and drinking water, making it functional for your RV needs. While some visitors have pointed out that the park can feel a bit crowded and lacks a natural vibe, it does provide basic facilities such as showers and toilets to keep things comfortable. One camper mentioned, “You are not allowed to stay if you are staying for less than 5 days,” which highlights its focus on longer-term residents.

Rude Customer Service

Would not stay here solely based on the phone call, they don’t have time to speak to anyone nicely.

Older RV Park, Mostly Residents

We spent one night at this older, trashy RV park. It is neither pristine or remote. Heavy traffic sounds, crowded parking sites for permanent residents with a few spots available (on a daily basis) for through travelers. No river access. No wifi. Never found the bathrooms. Verizon = 2 bars.

This is a permanent residence park

This is a park for people who live in trailers and RV's that want to stay stationary for a while. You are not allowed to stay if you are staying for less than 5 days. It is for longer stays and is in the middle of Englewood which is busy and crowded. There isn't a nature feel at all in the area. You are right off a main road.

What do reviews say about Flying Saucer RV Park in Colorado?

Flying Saucer RV Park in Colorado receives mixed feedback. Located in Englewood, it's an urban RV park with minimal natural surroundings. The environment is busy with considerable traffic noise. The park appears to cater primarily to longer-term residents, with limited space for travelers passing through. Customer service experiences vary significantly among visitors. The park is not described as pristine, and many sites are occupied by permanent residents. Cell service with Verizon shows approximately 2 bars of coverage.

How does Flying Saucer RV Park compare to other RV parks in Denver?

Flying Saucer RV Park differs from many Denver area RV parks by focusing primarily on long-term stays rather than short-term tourists. Unlike parks that offer recreational environments, this urban Englewood location provides few natural amenities or scenic qualities. The atmosphere is distinctly residential, with many permanent or semi-permanent occupants. While centrally located in the metro area, the park experiences significant ambient noise from surrounding traffic. Those seeking a wilderness camping experience or resort-style amenities would likely prefer alternative Denver area options.

Does Flying Saucer RV Park allow long-term stays?

Yes, Flying Saucer RV Park specifically caters to long-term stays. The park actually requires a minimum stay of 5 days, making it unsuitable for overnight or weekend visitors. The facility primarily serves as a residential community for people living in their RVs or trailers rather than a traditional campground for travelers. Many of the sites are occupied by permanent residents. For those seeking extended accommodation in the Englewood area, this park provides an option for semi-permanent or long-term RV living in an urban setting.
