Well-spaced sites under gorgeous cottonwood trees in bright yellow fall foliage (beware if allergic!). Basic services as listed, except no internet that we could find. Verizon = 3 bars. Ranger told me he's never seen the campground fill up. Great staging location for both North Rim and South Rim exploration. Private homes surround the park, fairly close. Stray dogs come around but were not aggressive. $20 for camper van.
We spent one night at this older, trashy RV park. It is neither pristine or remote. Heavy traffic sounds, crowded parking sites for permanent residents with a few spots available (on a daily basis) for through travelers. No river access. No wifi. Never found the bathrooms. Verizon = 2 bars.
Clean sites with just a few quiet RVers. Clean bathrooms. Easy dump site. Worth the few miles to drive off 1-80. Beautiful big trees throughout the RV park and along the paved, 1-mile loop trail. Online reservations. Verizon = 2 bars.
