Perfection

Lakeside campsite with a small hike/walk to the water. Lots of fish caught from shore, rented paddleboards in town. Not at all crowded, gorgeous views! Would love to go back.

Primitive

Nice spot to stop and park if your coming over Independence Pass , and nice tent spots overlooking Twin Lakes . No water , electricity, only a vault public toilet . Kinda pricey at 22 per night to camp and 8 dollars to park for day use area but no crowed at all

Great Port in the Storm

This site is located on the northeastern shore of Twin Lakes Reservoir. There is a boat ramp and there is a gate to block the use of ramp unless open. When open you will find someone that is checking for the Aquatic Invasive Species(AIS). They are there to make sure everyone follows the procedures for Clean, Drain, and Dry to prevent the spread of any AIS.

There is a very large parking area for the boat trailers with a pit toilet. Overnight camping is allowed and the backdrop of the mountains and the quiet makes for a beautiful stay. In October there was no one else camped. Very peaceful, The parking area will hold any size rig- No Trash just a pit toilet. There is a lot of dispersed camping across the road but if you only need a spot for the night this is the ticket.  Verizon cell.

Absolutely stunning!

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to camp. Tent sites are incredible with amazing views! If you’re in a rv it’s just a parking lot. But still has great views!
