Magical

Early October, no bugs. Gorgeous views if you can get on a high spot. About half an hour from any store. Fish were jumping. Gorgeous.

Amazing views and many spots

What a wonderful experience, I have to thank The Dyrt for this find. When we got to location, we were surprised with the amount of spots we could camp in. Although they have closed down camping near the shore, we were able to get a spot right above the hill. Every other camper was friendly.

Beautifil views, very busy

Very busy on the weekends, beautiful views from some of the sites, spots near the water are spectacular but require some luck to get Lovely lake to paddle board or kayak on, good mountain biking and hiking trails nearby, Interlaken Trail & Colorado Trail

Gorgeous but busy

This was a really great camping trip. The drive was super easy all around the lakes. I am not a hiker but there are plenty of trails and non- car camping spots along the trails. The spots by the water go super fast and the ones not by the water are pretty close together. The lakes themselves get very busy with day trip folks. Would come here again just a lot earlier in the week so we can get a water spot. Oh also, there’s porta potty’s!! There’s also a cute farmers market on the road before you turn in so if you need food there’s some close by.

Great Camping Spot

This was a great camping spot. There are several campsites by the water and other campsites, not by the water. The campsites are kind of close together, but not terrible. I went early on a Friday and got a beautiful spot by the water. By the end of the day, all the sites around the water were full. So if that's important to you, be sure to get there early. There were still plenty of other gorgeous campsites, not by the water available all weekend. There are also hiking trails located here. One of which is called "Interlaken Trail." It's about a 5 mile hike total and takes you to a "Ghost Resort" called "Inter-Laken" that was abandoned around WW1. You can even go inside one of the buildings, and there are Historical Marker plaques that talk about the abandoned resort. The signal is great so I had cell service and data the entire time. Highly recommend!
