Heavenly spot

We have an Outlaw toy hauler so we’re so lucky to get a back-in spot overlooking the river. Slept with the back open and fell asleep to the river sounds. Just heavenly! Hope we can come back again and stay longer. Place is very clean. Looks like some people were river rafting up from here so maybe you can arrange that from the camp.

Camp on the Arkansas River

Nice place. Staff is very friendly. Pull though and back ins. Tent spots and cabins. 30 50 amp. Water and some spots with sewers. Nice office some supplies, showers, laundry. Spot by the river for fishing and or sitting. A bench to have a cup of coffee and watch the river. Cons. By hwy 50, busy in the day time, but not much traffic at night. This a great spot to refresh supplies before boonkocking in the mountains.

Beautiful surroundings !

Wow! Beautiful views! A river with cliffs on one side and mountain views on the other side. It is right on Hwy 50 which means easy access, but also lots of road noise. We stayed in three different spaces because we kept wanting to stay longer. They were all nice sized spaces, although some spaces appeared to be rather small. Some full hookups, some water and electric only and about three tent sites. We spotted big horn sheep on the cliff behind us! The park also had a live singer entertain one night!
