Many campers appreciated the spacious, tree-shaded sites and pristine facilities right on the Russian River. A common theme was the excellent location with easy walking access to downtown Guerneville across the bridge.

Right in the Russian River

Great location on the Russian river. Host was attentive and the facilities were clean. The sites are bit and surrounded by trees.

Right by Johnson’s Beach

Right by the Russian River and Johnson’s Beach. Take advantage and go kayaking or canoeing in the river. Cheap rentals at Johnson’s Beach.

Definitely not secluded. The town of Guerneville is right there, but that means you can go get a nice bite to eat. Look up Oprah’s favorite biscuits at the Big Bottom Deli or the Guerneville taco truck in the Safeway parking lot is legit too.

Secluded redwood camp

Beautiful camp in the redwoods- . bathrooWhen the river is flowing, can be awesome for swimming and floating. River can be quite low, especially by late summer/fall, but still enough water for a cool off. Nice big lawn for games with plenty of sun. Ample space among the trees with more shade. They sometimes host large events- but otherwise pretty peaceful. Town (restaurants/market) is an easy walk along the river

Excellent place to camp!

We have camped here several times with and without our kids and love it! The sites are mainly grass and the bathrooms are extremely clean and really big. It is right on the river, and a short walk across the bridge drops you off in the middle of town.

Camping in a park

I have stayed here for many years. Newer groundskeepers continue good service. Campsites don’t always have access to electricity so I have camped in rv spots to get power. Great location just a quick walk across the bridge to town.
