The campground has a store, gasoline, and it’s 5 min from the crater lake rim loop. Also site B5 is right next to the bathroom do not recommend.

Campground is big and right next to gurney falls

Great open space minutes from Joshua Tree park and next to Twentynine Palms town. A lot of OHV rolling around and a few scattered groups. We got some wind that luckily died down. Great place to see the sunrise and sunset.

Great small campsites right next to Tahoe City and right off the lake. Camp hosts are friendly and attentive. Great biking trail that cuts through the camp and follows the Truckee river. We stayed in site 22 which was closer to the road so you heard a lot of cars.

Best Sites - 15, 16, 17

Great campsite directly next to the visitor center on the Avenue of Giants. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Campsite 049Bu - was big but had little privacy from the sites right next to us.

Best Site - 43Bu

Nice, quiet, and secluded camground. They have 2 bathrooms and drinking water. The hike to the campgrounds from the Bear Valley Visitors Center is about 2-3.5 miles depending on the route.

Best Sites - 10, 11

Great location on the Russian river. Host was attentive and the facilities were clean. The sites are bit and surrounded by trees.
