Great Campground close to east Yosemite entrance

This is a very functional Campground and super convenient to Yosemite and the Mammoth Lake area. Staff is friendly, grounds are tidy and bathrooms/showers are clean. Really enjoyed it.

Beautiful camping

Beautiful, large campsites. First come, first serve. Friendly campground hosts. Costs have gone up to $25 a night. The Vault toilets and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We stayed in site number 5 and we had friends/family staying in campsites 4 & 6 and it was perfect and large area…

It was our first time camping in Yosemite and we absolutely loved this campsite. Mirror Lake, and Mist Trail were near by. Restrooms are extremely clean great views all around.

Traveled from Las Vegas to this hidden gem. Great place for relaxation by the lake or taking a hike. Great place for dogs. Will be coming back since Yosemite national park is only an hour or so away.

AKA Curry Village

Nice, no frills canvas tenting in Yosemite. Best part is the location, which gives direct access to some of the most popular trails -- Happy Isles to Mist Trail, Mirror lake, etc. It has a nice family friendly vibe. Community/ Shared baths were acceptable, but be prepared to wait for showers during…

Camped at Ward Lake for several nights

Great small campground next to a small lake. Nice campsites, pit toilets. Overall pretty good, but we did come across several small rattle snakes.

Best location, easy camping

This is the best location in Yosemite. Super easy with great views of Yosemite falls and creek to play in. Bathrooms were clean. Spaces have enough room that you aren’t on top of each other. Tents have outlets to plug in a few items. Beds were comfortable enough. Tent could have been cleaner, but…

Friendly Hosts and close to the water

Love it here, can't wait to return!

We stayed at drive thru site 103 which is a medium size site with PLENTY of space. It was fairly level and we had electric hook-ups for 30 & 50 amp service. The water spigot was a little ways away so we filled up on our way in. We were situated across the…

The campground was really spacious and well kept but just know if you show up you NEED. A reservation. We misread some signs and started setting up in a reserved spot. Thankfully the camp host was able to help us out, and we ended up being able to stay in another spot. The bathrooms are a little…

Above average park campground

Camped here on thru hike of PCT. Everything you need & the cleanest vault toilets ever. The drive in sites seem well appointed but we stayed in the designated hiker sites. Bear vaults a plenty ease stress because bear activity at this campground is well documented.

Just above the campground…

Hidden Gem

Off-road on the way to the camp site. We stayed at #4, with a good shade and it’s by the creek. Everything is good only it’s too dusty when other cars pass by without slowing down.

Private and perfect environment

The group campsite was spacious, shaded, and room for many tents to spread out and apart. There were several picnic tables and one nearby vault toilet. The Green Creek was adjacent with nice rushing water. Be mindful to bring plenty of water. The website indicates availability of potable water but…

Great campsite to get away from crowds

We got a campsite right next to the stream that had great trees for hammocks. Only other people were on the other side of the stream down a ways so we couldn’t even hear them. Absolutely gorgeous and up high enough that the heat was no problem even in August when I was there.
