Wonderful Campground, Avoid 32 &34

Great location, centrally located for exploring both Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.

Nicely shaded spots and the higher elevation is nice for cooler nights during the hot summer months.

Great views of the sunset from the back of the campground.

Grant Grove Village is very close by…

Great dispersed camp spot

Great dispersed campground for those looking for more nature and privacy. Great place to go atv or off roading. Nice little creek near by and hiking trails. Only bad thing is the vault restrooms are extremely nasty and smell even worse but overall everything else is good. No running water so bring…

Well if you want to pay $26 for a very weedy, sun only lot, crammed amongst many RV’s with no toilet and no water, here is your place to camp. First time to Yosemite. We were very overwhelmed with all the rules, all the people, and the limited information the Rangers gave you while entering the…

Perfect spot

So far this is the nicest place ive ever camp at from all my backpacking trips. Cant beat lake with the mountain in the background, tranquillity and spacious area. Only con can be mosquitoes. Other than that this place is a must to visit

Very close to beautiful lake

We rented an RV and had it delivered to the campsite and set up; all sites have electric hookups and water spigots nearby, but one loop has full RV hookups at each spot. We were very close to the lake, just a short walk, and it's beautiful. Super clear, relaxing sounds, easy trails all along. It…

Wide open and peaceful

Up on the foothills, this expansive campground is in a nice, peaceful setting. Exposed to the elements, it was quite windy with no shade the 2 days we stayed there, except for the nice little shelters on each site. Most of the sites are by reservation only but one loop is first-come. Wonderful…

Premium California Camping

The name says it all. This campsite was a majestic experience for being surrounded by huge pines and sunsets you have to experience- photos do them no justice. Campers were very respectful and nighttime brought a soothing silence with very little noise and partying. Everyone gathers to see the…

Great little spot

Pass the two normal campgrounds and there’s a ton of turn offs to camp at. We have a 30ft so it was pretty big and it was freeeeeeee

Views of a dry lake bed

A nice campground.  Lots of space between sites, some with electric and water.  Nice views of where the lake should be, with volcanic outcroppings all around.  Site 01 was shaded, level and easy to back our 24 foot trailer into.  Unfortunately the lake was way low due to drought.   Things we did…

Friendly host, dusty site

Advertised at $35 on The Dyrt, it was $63 with a discount. Closest bath house was mediocre, and no WiFi! Nice registration person offered her personal hotspot. As my 5th rv camping experience, I’m learning what to ask for up front.
