Hidden Beaches River Resort, Inc.

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Sitting on the banks of the Colorado River near Mayflower Park, Hidden Beaches River Resort operates year-round as a full-hookup RV and camping destination in Blythe, California. The park accommodates rigs up to 60 feet and provides electric, water, and sewer connections alongside a dump station, WiFi, and showers. A general store on site sells beer, wine, and liquor, which reviewers note comes in handy for longer stays.

The resort has a noticeable long-term resident population, and campers should know that the short-term area sits on the opposite side of the park from the bathhouse and laundry facilities. Sites are close together, and at least one reviewer paid over $40 for a single night, describing the parking as cramped. That said, the bathhouse is reported as clean, and the on-site staff has consistently drawn positive mentions. Candy H. notes there are "no river views to speak of," though the resort does include a boat launch and beach access directly on the Colorado River.

The WiFi is notably functional, which suits extended stays. The boat launch works but has been described as awkward. Campers interested in land-based recreation can reach the Blythe Intaglio geoglyphs nearby, with hiking access in that area. The Ehrenberg/River Sands KOA Holiday and Arizona Oasis RV Resort are alternative options a few miles south along the river corridor. Reservations are available and recommended, particularly if traveling with a large rig.

Long term residence by the river

No river views to speak of. A lot of long term full time residents. The general store comes in handy and sells liquor, beer and wine. The boat launch is kind of awkward.

Nice quiet place

Stayed for 2 nights. Quiet for a park this size. Lots of long term tenants. The wifi is awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bathhouse is clean. Showers are lukewarm after the first 30 seconds, which is the only drawback other than the bathhouse and laundry are on the other side of the park from the short term area. I'd stay again. Closer to the Blythe Intaglio area. Lots of hiking there.

It’ll do

The spaces are close together. They offer full hookups and beachfront. There are showers and laundry room. Rates were quite high though, paid over $40 for one night of super cramped parking.

Frequently Asked Questions

What amenities and facilities are available at Hidden Beaches Resort?

Hidden Beaches Resort offers a variety of amenities including full hookups for campers, clean bathhouses with showers, and laundry facilities. There's a general store on-site that sells essentials as well as alcohol, beer, and wine, which is convenient for campers needing supplies. The resort provides WiFi service that's reportedly quite good. For water recreation, the property features a boat launch, though some guests note it can be somewhat awkward to use. The resort also offers beachfront sites for those wanting direct water access.

Can RVs be accommodated at Hidden Beaches Resort in Blythe, California?

Yes, Hidden Beaches Resort can accommodate RVs with full hookup sites available. However, it's worth noting that several visitors mention the spaces are quite close together, creating a tight fit for larger rigs. The resort offers the essential amenities RVers need, including hookups, a dump station, and access to bathhouses and laundry facilities.
