The Colorado River flows past this RV resort where concrete pads accommodate rigs up to 50 feet along gravel roads. Sites cluster close together in what one camper describes as "a parking lot more or less," with many long-term residents creating a small community atmosphere. Full hookups include electric, water, and sewer connections at all sites.
Waterfront sites back directly to the river, offering immediate access for swimming and fishing, though Kate W. notes "the river is a little rundown and sad looking." The current runs strong enough that kayakers find it challenging, and boat traffic moves at high speeds during busy periods. A communal fire pit sits on the beach area with provided wood. The property includes a pool, hot tub, playground, and small dog park with washing station.
Weekend parties are common among the resident community, creating a social but sometimes loud environment. "Weekend parties were a thing! These folks knew each other --- so it was their little town --- we were camping in," observes one reviewer about the established social dynamics. Mosquitoes become problematic at sunset, particularly during warmer months. The resort offers cabin rentals and covered RV parking for an additional fee.
Access comes directly off Interstate 10, making arrival straightforward for large rigs. Reservations are available and recommended, especially for riverside spots. The property sits near River Dreamers RV Park and other Colorado River camping options. Summer temperatures require air conditioning, while winter months draw snowbirds to the area. The resort doesn't honor discount programs during peak winter season from January through February.
