Friendly area with river access

Although campsites are close together, there are many spots for friend groups to park near each other. Walking distance to the river. Walking distance to nearby bar/restaurant. Very friendly and clean area!

CRA Main campground

This is the main campground for CRA, Colorado River Adventures, membership campground. Well Over hundred gravel pull through sites. Think the only back in sites are the ones that back up to the Colorado River. There are two covered pools to hot tubs, a kids one foot deep splash pool. A bar with Cafe grilled with great food for breakfast, lunch and dinners. Kids clubhouse, playground, miniature golf. Nicely stocked Camp store. Boat launch ramp into ColoradoRiver. Full hookups. Down side was if your not in or on the Water it was hot. Was there last October for two nights and was very warm in hi 90's but this time was 115° to 120°

Sites close together/need membership

It’s overall a decent place with lots of amenities and things for kids to do. Rv Sites were just too close together and it’s dirt and there was some trash. It’s great for those with boats and OHV’s. there is water and a beach to swim. You have to have a membership to stay or be invited as a guest. They do have full hookups and a dog beach so pets are welcome. Be prepared for lots of noise and activity because it’s a busy place. Be sure to say hi to the donkeys that wander throughout the grounds.

We loved Emerald Cove Resort

We absolutely loved the Emerald Cove resort. They have roomy RV pull-through spots. A short walk from the Colorado River for all your water activities. The staff was helpful. There are some wild burros that stroll around at night and we found them dumping on our mat in the morning. Make sure to block your area off with chairs so they don't poop on your stuff. It can get hot. Their wifi was not bad when Verizon devices weren't keeping up. Miniature golf, arcade, poker room, darts, and overall an awesome site. It is a membership site, but if you check out their presentation you get hooked up.

Parker Strip Arizona

This is a membership park, you get 3 free nights stay but have to attend a 90 minute sales presentation. This is a nice park if you have jet skis a boat or ORV. They have great restrooms, a store, pool and restaurant bar.

Poorly managed staff and unruly guests

I booked our first trip in our new rv to Emerald Cove for 4th of July. We were sent to the very last space far left at the edge of the campground. The furthest away from bathrooms, showers, store, snack bar, pool, beach, everything! The beachfront spaces were all occupied. But so was the walkways to the water! The spaces reserved as access for all campers to get to the water were filled with cars, tents, people, even though these were clearly marked as walk ways and no parking or any other was allowed. We couldn't even get to the water! Staff did not enforce fair access. Worse, the next camper close to us had a 4 seat razor. Since there was a few spaces between us that were vacant they decided to use the area as a raceway and drove their off road razor vehicle whipping around our camp kicking up dust, dirt and rocks that even flew into us hitting us. I first approached the other campers and asked them nicely to stop driving their OFV wicked fast around us that we were being struck by rocks. They didn't stop. I reached out to the staff who did nothing. We were so unsafe with the vehicle driving around us doing broadies, that we packed up and left within the first 24 hours. We had a 4 day reservation. I phoned the office to let them we had just left and why...they couldn't care less. We will never return here.

Fun Times

We’ve stayed here several times. They have tons of spots for RV’s but they also have cottages you can rent if you don’t have an RV or have extra people visiting with you. It’s hot in the summer but the river is right there to jump in and stay cool. They also have 2 pools near the tiki bar and that’s where we spent a lot of time with the kids. Their food is good and very affordable. So are the drinks. Karaoke in the evenings is fun and it’s nice to have a store to buy ice etc. I would stay here again.

Nice Place

Very roomy sites close enough to the water. Clean and we'll run park with a lot amenities. The only downfall is it's like a timeshare. We got a free visit but needed to listen to the sales pitch for a couple of hours.

Good not great

The sites are very close together with nothing to separate your site from the next, more specifically, nothing to separate your neighbors septic hose from being the first thing you see and smell when you step out of your door. The bathrooms are cute and decent. Price at the tiki bar was fantastic and the karaoke nights on weekends was very fun. The kids love to swim at the pool at night and watch karaoke. The kids club was nice to have and I actually enjoyed sitting in there with the kids doing crafts. I did not eat at the tiki bar so I can't see anything about that food.

Would i stay here again. Not unless it was all that was available. It's the equivalent of a decently run Motel 6. Everyone there was very nice there's nothing wrong with it per se but I also know there's nicer places that are similarly-priced

GREAT!

This was on the Colorado River so it was pretty great. We were here in July and it was HOT! I mean HOT! There are no shaded spots either so our RV was running the AC non stop. They BBQ food you can buy by the plate. There are 2 pool and a tiki bar to buy snaks and alcohol. The pools and bar are shaded. There is a store also. I would definitely stay here again. Loved it!
