Willcox-Cochise KOA

Located directly off Interstate 10, Willcox-Cochise KOA sits just over a mile from the town center in southeastern Arizona. This KOA operates year-round and accommodates RVs up to 55 feet with full hookups on level gravel sites.

The campground's proximity to I-10 creates constant highway noise, particularly noticeable for sites closest to the road. Megan B. notes that campers "parked next to the highway are approx 12 feet from the actual highway road itself and can feel and hear every single vehicle that drives by." However, many visitors find the trade-off worthwhile for the easy access and clean facilities.

Staff escort guests to their assigned sites upon arrival, a service that streamlines the check-in process. The campground features an on-site restaurant serving full meals, a heated pool, and well-maintained restrooms with warm showers. A dedicated dog run provides space for pets to exercise. James P. describes the layout as "clean and well laid out" with "level sites."

The location provides convenient access to nearby services, including a Love's truck stop, Arby's, and McDonald's within walking distance. Several other RV parks operate in the immediate area, including Magic Circle RV Park and Love's Travel Stop - Willcox, both just north of the KOA.

Reservations are recommended, especially during peak travel seasons when interstate travelers frequently use this location as an overnight stop between destinations.

Many campers appreciated the spacious, clean sites and friendly staff at this well-maintained KOA. Highway noise is significant due to the I-10 location, though most found the amenities and service quality compensated for this drawback.

We’ve actually stayed here before. Fight realize it until I walked into the office. Sites are nice size, gravel, and they take you to your site. Wish they all did that!!!!! They have a cozy restaurant on the property that serves good food and a heated pool. It’s close to a Loves station, Arby’s, and a McDonalds. It’s right off of I-10 West. Very easy access.

Lots of road noise. This campground is located right next to a highway and on an exit. There is constant road noise from the highway. If you are parked next to the highway you are approx 12 feet from the actual highway road itself and can feel and hear every single vehicle that drives by.

Nice KOA

Very clean spacious well kept KOA. Cafe on site with nice staff and good food. The sites are super roomy. Staff is very friendly. I10 is noisy but really didn't mind that at all being tired from our travels. Fire pit and pool. Really nice place.

Great for a quick stopover

Quality park. Great dog walking area, laundry, store, restaurant, and pool. Very friendly staff. Sites are large for a KOA. All gravel though. Highway noise is significant.

Very nice park on hwy

Very well maintained with decent size sites and ample area to run your dogs. I would give this 5 stars if not for Highway noise. If that does not bother you too much then stay here!

KOA all the way!

Super clean sites, loved the firepit social area, laundry rooms and bathrooms were toasty warm during the crazy polar vortex weather. Love the last minute night check in option.
