A great quiet place in the woods

Excellent place to camp. If you want to feel like camping in the forest and having access to the towns amenities this is the place. The hosts are incredible.

Feel Iike you're camping in the forest

Awesome Low key campground that's next to Show Low Lake. 30 amp service in some spots, no water or sewage but there is a dump station and water fill station on premises. Open all year and is plowed when it snows.

Good to do once....

We made the mistake of visiting here on a holiday weekend. At other times I suspect this is a decent place, but this particular weekend was chaos and everything was broken/dirty. Trash overflowing. Bathrooms with super long wait times (hour or more). They don't have enough facilities for the…

Beautiful site BUT be aware of bear

Had a great time last August. We started at this campsite as we found it online. When we arrive there was only one other person there but very limited camping. There are only a total of eight sites all of which are set up for horses. All the stalls pretty clean and didn’t smell and the outhouse was…

Clean, comfortable campground

For the cleanliness, this campground should get 5 stars. The people who work there clean the bathrooms throughout the day so they’re always nice. The camp spots are good sized and as private as they can be with being as close as they are. Overall, we were really impressed here!

Nice campground

Great people working there, seemed quiet until our neighbor turned on the construction site generator for 4.5 hours. Weekends are very busy, but noisy which is ok if you don’t mind motorcycles and generators. We were looking for quiet this trip so we only stayed one day.

Great place with great people

On our way to NM from CA and needed a site for the night. Boy did we get lucky! Gorgeous views of the lake which was a close walk, very clean sites, and staff who went above and beyond when we called to book on the same day. We’ll go out of our way to make it back to this excellent campground.…

Close to town!

First time here, the hosts were nice and let us reserve a spot for the weekend but only because we showed up in person.

The spots were clean, some with shade and some out in the open. We stayed across the road in the second camping loop and they only allow RV’s in this side, no tents. There are…

Beautiful campground on Apache Reservation

Boondocking at its finest! Quiet, large campground, easy access to lake, wildlife. Close to town but far enough that it feels like your way out.

Weekday Heaven

This campground was really nice and quiet on the weekdays. I left on Sat morning, and Friday night it was hopping and crowded (It was also Fathers day weekend). Most of the electric sites are really big and private. Lots of trees to block camper other campers. On the downside there was only 1 flush…

Amazing lake camping!

This is by far my favorite lake campground and one of my top 3 overall campgrounds. The camping spots are large and clean. The bathrooms are always clean and the showers are hot. There is a biking/hiking trail around the lake that we love to spend time on. You can fish too. Plenty of bird and…

RIGHT on the edge of town.

Cute little Campground literally on the edge of town. If you look in one direction you'll see the apartment buildings about a quarter mile away (you can see it in the video). Each "Loop" has about 4 to 6 spots and a hauled water dispenser with a faucet. There is a men's and women's bathroom for…
