  Williams-Circle Pines KOA

  Great KOA with lot's of Amenities

  This KOA is very clean and has ton's of amenities on site, very nice showers and bathrooms, some of the amenities are mini golf, pan for gems, trails, go karts, peddle cars, playground, laundry room, store,small arcade, just to name a few, not all the amenities are free. Close to Williams,AZ one exit away, also close to Bearizona, Grand Canyon, Deer farm. They have everything from campsites that are primitive to a full group cabin to rent and everything in between.

  During our stay we rented a 4 person cabin, while other family members that we were there to camp with had a pull thru spot for there 5th wheel.

  Our cabin has a queen size bed and a bunk bed, the room had a TV, picnic table. fire pit, swinging porch bench, and a heater, the rest rooms where a quick minute walk away.

  Thousand Trails Verde Valley

  Great place with versatile activities to do for fun

  Their resort is the best one for the money.   Their bathrooms are designed for UNISEX so it is no gender issue and nice place to shower, etc. where the laundromats are in several spots.

  It has nice path for people to hike, fish, or explore in the wood.

  The pool area is nice for toddlers with all cool features to play, heated pool and spa with plenty of chaises. The community center has nice a pool table, snack bar where you can serve yourself free coffee, playing board games, and sometimes, they have fun activities with a small fee for kids or adults to do something creatively.

  It offers ATV/UTV to rent to explore around the towns (Cottonwood, Clarksdale, Sedona, and Jerome.

  It has tiny houses to rent for travelers who want to camp without RVs or tents.

  It is convenient from the highway with grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, RV services close by, and a local casino.

  It has two places close by where you can wash your RVs if necessary and on site wax service.   

  The staff in the office and maintenance were very friendly and professional ready to help

  Cave Springs

  Ponderosa Pine forest, roadside campground.

  This campground is right off of the main road leading into Sedona. The showers are $4 each. The sites are relatively close in proximity. The bathrooms are vault style. Try and reserve a site away from bathrooms and road to reduce noise and light pollution. There are many trees which make hammock camping a favorable option. Beautiful creek runs along the site. Camp hosts are very friendly! Running water. Soft pine needle forest floor. Brisk temperatures in the night, 50's and high's in the 90's.

  Verde River RV Resort & Cottages

  A hidden Gem

  We just stayed here this past weekend and we will definitely be back! This place is amazing! Nicer than most KOAs and similarly priced but with more stuff to do. There is a heated pool ( like actually heated) a hot tub, a cute playground, basketball half court, pickle ball courts, mini golf course, dog park, and a river nearby. On top of all they that have great activities available on the weekend like kids crafts, a movie night, live music and a nice campfire. Honestly this place is very well cared for and it shows. The staff were all very friendly, and public bathrooms were some of the nicest and cleanest I’ve ever seen! The even offered free breakfast on Sunday. Also they weren’t too close to the freeway ( we have a pop-up so we hear everything at night), but only a few minutes from gas stations and Starbucks as well as McDonalds and other fast food places.

  Rio Verde RV Park

  Great stay

  We stayed almost a week here and our spot had a tree with nice shade. Level easy set up, full hookups and a cement pad out our front door. The staff was friendly the bathroom and laundry was spotless. We had a full moon that week and hiked up the hill to their observation deck on hat overlooked cottonwood and had views of Mingus Mountain and Jerome. Easy shot up 89a to Sedona. Great stay!

  Cave Springs

  Wonderful escape from the low desert.

  The sites are clean, well spaced, and all under a canopy of green trees. The Oak Creek runs next to the loop A sites and is fun and refreshing to walk along. Weekends can fill quickly, but weekdays have far fewer people. Be warned, we were told that the summer months are busy week long and can get loud with partying college kids. Camp hosts have been making an effort to enforce the quiet hours because of this.

  Rancho Sedona RV Park

  Amazing!!

  The amenities are fantastic. There are hot showers, clothes line, laundry, volleyball, tether ball, and horseshoes. Also available is Wi-Fi, DVDs, cable, board games, full hookups at each site, and not to mention the crazy beautiful views. You’re walking distance to everything Sedona has to offer in town and the RV park sits right on a nice creek you can hike along. The only downside is that the office staff doesn’t wear masks inside the tiny office. They could be friendlier, but the site is so beautiful it outweighs the cons.

  Nice camp but noisy

  This campground is well kept, nice sites, but also close to highway so noise is a problem. Current rate is $22 a night, a little pricey in my mind when you consider that restrooms feature vault toilets and no running water. Showers are available ($4). Close to Sedona. The camp office does include a small store which carries some food items and supplies. The fire rings are very deep which in my opinion ruins a fire unless you are using it to cook. Some sites can be reserved.

  lots of amenities

  go-karts, play areas, ‘trampoline’, hiking trails, pets, under the trees, Indoor pool and spa, activities, snack bar, laundry, store. low water pressure for sewer clean out though. right now due to fire restrictions can only use propane for fires, bbq and ground. close to Bearizona, Williams. great for camping and ‘glamping’
