    Good place - Quiet

Convenient to SE Phoenix area. Far enough from the freeway to be quiet. An oasis surrounded by fields. Clean restrooms, pools, grounds, roads, sites. Nice folks working there. Refundable $20 deposit to get bathroom key. Did not use laundry. Stayed 3 nights. Very open, but a tree between each rig. Not much shade. Full hookups but no CATV. $73 per night. I will. Stay here again when I’m in the area.

    Clean

Large clean spots. All spots are fenced descent pool and small store if you need anything. We stayed in the loop near the entrance. Quite loud with all the cars coming and going. Marina for boat rentals with a shuttle to take you back and forth. Strong WiFi. Kids were able to zoom without any issues.

    Disappointed

Well we stayed here for two nights and frankly I wasn’t very impressed. The Campground is really only for permanent residents, everyone else ends up in a dirt lot essentially. Nearest bathrooms were a bit of a hike, so were all amenities. We paid for water and electric. The noise level was crazy... especially as we have a pop-up. I guess they don’t really enforce quiet hours. We got in late and finding our campsite was hard in the dark if you’ve never been there before. Lots of bugs at night. Honestly you pay $50 a night just to be by a lake and for me it wasn’t worth it 🤷‍♀️.

    Pleasant Harbor RV Resort

Great place to camp for the night in a RV

Depending on the water level, it can be a hike to the water. Nothing bad at all though. Has water, 30amp, 50 amp, and 20amp hook ups. Covered picknick table and fire pit. We definitely will come here again. Good Verizon cell service.

    Great summer fun

Large spacious sites. Several camping options available. There is dry camping, T-sites or Resort camping. T sites have only electric and water. Resort has everything. Lake swimming not your thing? Pool available with showers and store. Well managed and great family summer fun.

    Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts

    Very neat with orange trees

Staff very helpful when we came to help us park, but office & store were closed at 3pm on a Saturday. Couldnt get supplies or change for laundry.

Nice & quiet. All paved. 3 dog pens side by side to unleash pet for pottying and a long dog run I another area with toys & balls.

1/2 the Laundry machines did not work with card. Had choice of 8 quarters per load or card. I had plenty of cash if they’d had a change machine, but they didn’t & it was frustrating that 1/2 the machines didn’t work with card. Everything else was nice. Expensive but we expected that. $92-95 for pull thru full hook-up.

Store closed at 3 on Sat & closed Sun.

    Pleasant Harbor RV Resort

Great Campground with easy water access...lots of options

There are several different RV/Camping options at Pleasant Harbor Marina / RV Resort.

    1. In the resort with Full Hookups

    2. Out on the "flat" with just water and power (dump station on site)

    3. Out on the "flat" with no hookups. (can also tent / car camp)

As compared to the Maricopa County Parks side, this has a little bit more party atmosphere, is less secluded, but you can almost always get at least a boondocking spot without a reservation. They also have large events here as well so check their calendar for the weekend you are wanting to go!

We keep a boat at Lake Pleasant and are part of the Arizona Yacht Club so we are up here all the time.

    Leaf Verde RV Resort

    Served us well

We needed a place in or near Buckeye and located this place. Nice bathrooms, hot showers. We were in a Class B close to the entrance so didn’t have any issues with size of sites. Didn’t try any amenities beyond our hookups which worked well, which is why I’m going with 4 rather than 5 stars. -I just can’t rate them.

Guide to Arlington

Cabins for rent near Lake Pleasant provide overnight accommodations approximately 40 miles northwest of Arlington, Arizona. These cabin rentals offer an alternative to tent camping in a region where summer temperatures frequently exceed 100°F between May and September. Winter temperatures average 65-70°F during the day, making off-season visits more comfortable for outdoor activities.

What to do

Water activities at Lake Pleasant: Pleasant Harbor RV Resort provides cabin guests with lake access for fishing, swimming, and boating. "Large spacious sites. Several camping options available. There is dry camping, T-sites or Resort camping. Lake swimming not your thing? Pool available with showers and store," notes Marc S. from Pleasant Harbor RV Resort.

Hiking nearby trails: Many cabin accommodations offer proximity to desert hiking opportunities with minimal driving. "I was very exhausted after the hiking but the land was worth it indeed," reports Tara L. from Aztec Village RV Park, referring to the surrounding trail systems.

Orange tree exploration: Several cabin properties in the area feature citrus groves on their grounds. "Near I-10. Close together spots but orange, lemon, and grapefruit trees everywhere. They have 2 fenced dog runs. Pretty pool and hot tub," states Missy C. about the unique landscaping at Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts.

What campers like

Quiet environment: Despite proximity to Phoenix, many cabin properties maintain peaceful atmospheres. "Very clean and quiet RV park. Most of the sites are taken by people who live here full time in either a moveable RV or a trailer home. We stayed here over New Year's 20/21 and most people where inside by sunset and not making any noise," reports Erika P. about Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts.

Pool amenities: Many cabin accommodations include swimming pools, providing relief from summer heat. "Pool, Hot Tub, Pool tables. Lots of amenities," mentions Tim F. about the recreational options at Desert Shadows RV Resort.

Clean facilities: Cabin guests consistently note well-maintained grounds and facilities. "Clean bathrooms, great lounge with a library, pool," writes Trinity R. about Leaf Verde RV Resort, highlighting the diverse amenities beyond basic cabin accommodations.

What you should know

Cabin furnishings vary significantly: Each property offers different cabin setups. "This is an RV Park not far from my home, so I reviewed it so I'd have some practical advice for friends and family members traveling through the area. It's nothing exciting - just a big paved RV parking lot crossed by paved streets," notes Chenery K. about Leaf Verde RV Resort, indicating the basic nature of some properties.

Reservation requirements: During winter months (November-March), cabin bookings should be made 3-6 months in advance due to snowbird season. Summer availability is typically more flexible with 1-2 weeks notice often sufficient.

Limited supplies: Many cabins require guests to bring additional items. "No store, be sure you're well stocked with everything before you head out," advises Ted S. regarding Pleasant Harbor, indicating the need to arrive prepared.

Tips for camping with families

Pool activities for children: Family-friendly cabin rentals often include swimming facilities to keep children entertained. "The pool is refreshing and if you aren't into swimming there is a pool table, dog park and shuffle board to keep you busy. The sites are gravel and close together but nice," shares Jen H. about Leaf Verde RV Resort.

Pet-friendly options: Many cabin properties accommodate family pets with specific amenities. "They have 2 fenced dog runs," mentions Missy C., while another reviewer notes "People are very friendly and helpful."

Transportation considerations: Some properties offer internal shuttles for moving gear. "Free shuttle to haul kayak to boat ramp," notes Margaret T. from Pleasant Harbor RV Resort, making water activities more accessible for families with children.

Tips from RVers

Electricity hookups: Most cabin areas share facilities with RV sites. "Depending on the water level, it can be a hike to the water. Nothing bad at all though. Has water, 30amp, 50 amp, and 20amp hook ups. Covered picknick table and fire pit," explains Tom R. about the amenities at Pleasant Harbor.

Internet connectivity: Cabin rentals offer varying connectivity options. "AT&T coverage was quite good, with 2-3 Bars of 5G+ service and speeds up to 23 MB/s. The CG WiFi was pretty decent as well, with speeds up to 4 MB/s, but varied depending on congestion," reports Ray & Terri F. about their stay at Desert Shadows RV Resort.

Laundry facilities: Extended cabin stays benefit from on-site laundry. "Easy to get to from the 10 freeway, good sized RV park w decent sized sites, park is kept clean, pool, Pickleball courts, cornhole area, dog park, huge laundry room, and the people are nice," notes Dawn F., highlighting the comprehensive amenities.
