Keep hiking

This site is a small one right off the trail when it makes a sharp U turn that could be an option for the night if you get started late and need a place to crash. My suggestion would be to keep going though and push on a little further to get to some better sites ahead. Make sure to check out my review of Cheaha Falls Campground where I discuss the entire loop and the best times of year to visit. The site has a small campfire and a flat space just large enough to put down a tent. There is really no water source in the area so you will have to carry in whatever you want for the night. The site is easy to find though since you hit it straight on if you walk past the nice trail marker. We visited here in mid March and it was beautiful since there was a lot of rain recently and all the flowers were just starting to bloom. Overall, there is a site here if you are in need in a pinch but if you are doing your research and making a plan for where to stay either stop at one of the earlier sites or keep moving for some nicer spaces ahead.
