Free and hike-in only, these clustered sites along the early eastern stretch of the Skyway Loop Trail in Talladega National Forest sit below the ridge and have no water source, so campers must carry in everything they need. Each site has a fire pit and enough space for a hammock. Sites tend to stay open while ridge-top spots fill first, making them a practical option for hikers getting a late start. Pets are welcome. Those continuing east will find Skyway Loop Trail Turn Campground about 0.8 miles ahead, with more options further along toward the ridge.
