Bledsoe Creek State Park Campground

Site 22 has a slightly declined slope and is right next to another site that is a pull through. It is also right next to the main road for the park. Vehicles drive relatively slow due to all the speed bumps.

There are tons of deer at this park. Our dogs picked up ticks every day, and we had a few as well. Watch out for lyme and other tick born illnesses. We unfortunately found a bullseye rash from one of the bites. This means the deer are carriers as well.

Would return again, great access to lake front, easy in and out, very active with other campers

Tent camped for 2 nights. Terrific time in late September. Not too crowded. Camp hosts were very nice. Shower/bath facilities need reconfiguring and updating as the stalls leave you very exposed, water not hot. That said looking to visit once more this autumn.

Being going there for over 30 years watch my kids grow up , now my grandchildren

What a nice campground! Spent three days based here while visiting the Nashville area. The campground is quiet, clean, beautiful. So nice to be on the river. Bathhouse was quite adequate, clean and hot showers. Sites are not stacked on top of each other. Looks like it would be a great family place with the play area and water front. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

It’s like I have my own theme park…minus the 2.5 days of rain it was a kickin' time!!

Technical problems so we stayed with friends but super clean park, inexpensive and interesting trails

I took my son here and it was a quaint little place. We stayed in the primitive sites right next to the lake. Definitely recommend.

This campground was fantastic. Our family has been in search of a campground close to home where we can spend several weekends each year and this may be it. The sites are spacious, the campground is clean, the bathhouses were VERY clean, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the park itself which is nice, but small. We did a nice 4 mile hike around the whole park, but when we’re hiking we love to get out away from everyone and everything. It felt like we were in earshot of the campground the entire hike.

We’ll DEFINITELY be returning to this campground.

This park was amazing! We loved our views of the water, having hikes and geocaching right from the campsite and multiple playgrounds was a real treat!

We loved being on a cul de sac for our little one and enjoyed the large campsite with room to roam! It was a little odd that our fire pit was behind our camper but it worked out. Overall we loved it and will be back!

We camped here in January. It was very quiet because the other campers were all RVers who spent most of their time inside. The bathrooms were very clean and we basically had them to ourselves, since the RVers used their RVs. This park was really nice and we got some great sunrises over the water. Loved having a water spigot onsite. Only an hour away from Nashville if you want to visit!

Bathrooms were very clean. The hosts were nice, and rode by to see if we needed wood or ice. This was our first trip. The only bad things were that there was no swimming in the lake and there was no pool. We will try a new place next time. Plan on trying a few of them! Can’t wait!

Well kept grounds, helpful hosts and clean facilities make this mostly shady campground a winner. Book early and score a waterfront site if your fortunate.

We were in primitive site I and it was a perfect spot to camp on a hot day. The sun never touched our tent. They offer kayak rentals and they are good sturdy ones at a reasonable rate. There is no swimming but we enjoyed fishing. They have A honey locus tree on one of the trails which was cool. I had never seen one. They are pet friendly and pets are allowed leashes on all the hiking trails. The animals are not scared of humans or dogs. We had squirrels, birds, deer and turkey join us at our camp site.

Bledsoe is great for little kids (which is now my primary criteria when judging a park). There is a flat trail next to the lake that my two year old loves to run up and down, playgrounds, and a story trail. There are also some nice hiking trails with beautiful views of the lake (for me) and lots of bugs and turtles (for the toddler).

While most of the campsites have RV hookups, there are several primitive sites next to the lake that are away from all the generator noise. These sites have ample room and a nice view of the lake.

Great camping for families that is a short drive from Nashville.

Easy hiking trails with little to moderate inclines and terrain. Around 5-7 miles of trails, plenty of camping sites. I always see wildlife when i visit this park. It is lakeside with docks available and kayak rentals

This is a small area but has some nice trails. Camping is quiet most nights and the water is calm for those who like to fish.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Bledsoe Creek State Park! Campground was very clean. Plenty of spaces between sites. State park officers were very friendly. We will definitely return again!

Close drive to town, but far enough out not to have the noise. Really clean campground and nice bathhouses. Several areas for activities. And some really nice spots with several being right on the water. The only drawback is there is no swimming. Its a really great place for when it's too cold to swim anyway. Lots of hiking areas to.

We have camped at Bledsoe creek state park 3 times and will go back. One of the best small campgrounds ever. They are clean, spacious and the bath houses are clean and well stocked. The campsites are paved, level and most of them are partially shaded to shaded. The attendants are all friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this state park to anyone and everyone.

This park was my home for a week or so and it was so amazing to enjoy. Deer would just walk up near you and just say hello. It's so peaceful and it allows me to think that there's not all bad here on Earth

We stayed right on the water & one of the trails, it was so beautiful. Unfortunately, it was our first time taking our puppy & she got loose, so we left early In the mornIng, BUT we are definitely planning on going back with our camper! Spots are very spacious & cell service was good. The bathrooms were clean & maintained. There were awesome trees around, I did set up my hammock here & read a good book for a bit! Sorry, I’m lacking photos, taking our puppy for the first time (In a tent) was a handful!

We stayed at site 5. Lots of pull through sites. Nice walking trails, with lots of wildlife very close. Close to the water for fishing or Kayaking.

Really had a great big site with tons of room for camper and tent to spread out. Lots of grassy areas and lake fishing.
