The campground sits in bear country, and food storage is a genuine concern rather than a formality. At least one site has a bear box on-site, though availability varies. Campfires are permitted, cell service is listed as available, and pets are welcome. Stays are limited to five days and operate on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations.
