CAMPER SUMMARY PRESENTED BYFord

Restway Travel Park, near Cheyenne, Wyoming, is a straightforward spot for those looking to park their RV or pitch a tent. It’s open year-round and offers essential amenities like electric hookups and drinking water, making it a practical choice for travelers passing through.

The park is compact, with sites that are pretty close together, which some visitors have noted. Despite the tight quarters, many appreciated the friendly staff who are there to help, especially when it comes to backing in RVs. One camper mentioned, “The staff is friendly. Someone helped back our RV into our spot,” which highlights the supportive atmosphere here.

For families, there’s a heated pool that kids seem to love, providing a fun way to unwind after a day of travel. While the surroundings might not offer much in terms of scenic views or walking trails, the park does have a small dog park for your furry friends. Just keep in mind that the area is more functional than picturesque, with some reviewers likening it to an RV sales lot.

If you’re in the area, Restway Travel Park serves as a decent pit stop, especially if you need a place to recharge before hitting the road again. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done for a night or two.

Cheyenne, WY

We made it around 5. We were led to our spot and given a special adapter to receive 50 amp service. Good. Staff is very pleasant. CG is old and tight. No sewer we we are, but there is a dump. There was a heated pool, that’s all the kids cared about! Lol

Small, cramped park

This park is well maintained, but rather small. Spots are crammed in together tightly. If it was full, it would pretty rough. Luckily my neighbors were friendly, and everyone was quiet and respectful. Nothing to see or walk to in immediate neighborhood.

Words truly can’t describe

The positive comment, the staff is friendly. Someone helped back our RV into our spot, but they have to because the spots are soooo tiny and wedged between residential motor homes. The place looks more like a junk yard or an RV used sales lot, which it is! The dog park is the size of a postage stamp, but at least they have one. We needed a place to stay and it sufficed, but this is not an RV “park” in any sense of the word.
