Easy, friendly, convenient

Very accommodating RV park. Jack is a fun, helpful character who will make sure you feel welcome. We stayed here 3 nights, ate ribs at the tavern (don’t skip dessert), rode bikes around town, visited the Melvin Brewery and drove to Jackson & Grand Teton National park.

Don’t tent camp here

Don’t tent camp here. The tent area is about 20 yards from an extremely loud bar. People are outside it yelling til after 2am. Awful.

Beautiful campground

Amazing view! Full hookups, laundry, but bath house was under construction. Close to Jackson & on the banks of the Snake & Greys River.

Great campground and owner, making improvements presently

This is a great campground in Alpine WY. Level sites, full hook ups available, excellent wifi and cell service. There is a nice new bathhouse and laundry room (no laundromat in Alpine, so even if you don't camp here you can come use the laundry). The owner has upgraded the grassy areas, offers nice places to sit and hang out, live music at the restaurant/saloon at the entrance with upgrades bring made to the kitchen in order to offer breakfast and dinner options as well. Located right next to the Snake River with mountain views.

Excellent For A Pass Through

Grey's Rover Cove is an excellent place to park your RV overnight if you're on your way through town. My wife and I stopped here on the first night of our honeymoon on our way from Boise to Yellowstone. We hadn't planned very well and were in a rush to find a place to park overnight. Grey's was one of two places in this area to answer their phone on a Saturday, and were extremely accommodating and flexible on arrival times. We got in around 8 pm, and check in was a breeze. Since it was a little late, the manager said to go ahead and pick any open spot and he'll be by in the morning.

All of the hook ups were readily available, along with a laundry facility and men and women's showers. The area around Alpine, WY is gorgeous. Plenty of mountains and trees, as well as the river that runs right behind the property. Just a 5 minute walk and you can fish right off the bank.

Grey's sells their own firewood for $5.99 per bundle at the time of our visit, and the normal rate is $65.00 per night. Quite costly from what I can tell compared to some other places, but I was willing to pay since they were the only ones to be available or even open. For that price I wouldn't be willing to stay for the entire trip, but if you are out of options and just need someplace to park and plug in for the night's, this place is fantastic.
