Urban Camping

We arrived early after a long drive. They immediately checked us in, gave us resort keys that allow access to the whole of the resort property. My kids loved the pool. The RV section when we first arrived was a large parking lot. No trees. No grass aside from the immediate vicinity of office. The Bathrooms were clean (the furthest were being renovated). Laundry room was clean. By the time dinner time arrived, the entire lot was full of RVs and families which made the parking lot seem more welcoming. We enjoyed every minute. The RV Office closes at 5pm and many of those who arrived after 5 were camped out in the parking lot.

Welcoming experience

It was a well organized campground with electricity and water. The connections to sewer were all booked up. It was a busy place and the spaces were close, but the bathrooms and showers were clean. The playground was great for my son. We even got a free gift for staying! The host were friendly, but the store prices were really high. They had excellent WiFi.

Desert Oasis

This was an amazing surprise in the Starr Valley. After a long drive through a lot of desert, we were weary of this RV park. We were not only surprised and pleased with the lush green campground, but the stream and welcoming hosts made the campground one of the best! It is a gem in the desert. And we even got muffins in the morning! There were full hook ups and clean bathrooms and showers. There was even a free small Museum on site about the place.

Never again

We couldn’t find the check in place and no one knew where to check in. We get to check in and have to drive around to find the RV spaces. They were so close together. The sewer connection didn’t work. We had to back up so close to the next row, it was nerve racking. The casino is walking distance, but really really really inconvenient because the entrance is on the opposite side of the building. There are employees driving around in golf carts, but no shuttle to the store or the restaurant in the casino. The only saving Grace was the water park nearby.

Our little oasis

We loved everything about this campground. My 4 yo son loved the pool and the playground. My 12 daughter loved the WiFi and extra clean showers and bathrooms. The laundry room was immaculate. We also got some fancy rocks for a very low price. After a long drive, this was amazing to arrive at a well organized ground, very level with picnic tables and trees and calming surroundings.
