Delta Lake County Park

Where Delta Lake meets the Bayfield County landscape, this county-managed campground operates year-round with sites ranging from $25-30 per night. The facility includes shower houses with good water pressure, though restrooms use vault toilets rather than flush systems. Electric hookups are available for an additional fee, and sites come with picnic tables and fire rings.

Some sites sit adjacent to marshy areas that can generate heavy bug populations during certain seasons. The campground maintains a boat launch for lake access and stays relatively quiet compared to busier destinations. Twin Bear County Park lies just over a mile north for campers wanting additional options in the area.

Clean, quiet and great site spacing

We camped at space 3 and had access to the shower house, and bathroom. Both were well kept, and clean for camping facilities. Bathroom did not have flushing toilets but water pressure in showers were great. Easy in and registration process, electric was available at the site for an extra $5 but would have been worth it if needed. Very friendly neighbors and there is a boat launch close by along with parking.

Bayfield county park

Small campground managed the same as the campground at twin bear. Showers must be something new, they were not here previously but I see them listed on the website. Pretty quiet, nice lake. Tons of bugs as some of the sites are next to “swampy” areas. Close to other nicer lakes and national forest
