Used to be great but absolutely ridiculous now

Used to love this place. The last few years it has gone downhill. 4 seasonal campers at Twin Bear and 1 seasonsl camper at Delta, we asked to leave by the sheriff department because supposedly we were too loud at 11:30pm. NOT ONE of the other campers there have heard us all summer. Campers that have been there for 49yrs+ are looking at other options because of the extreme strict rules. You can't play yard games even in your own site because you might get too loud. And it doesn't matter if the camp host is intoxicated or not, telling the truth or not, the county will back her, even with proof she was wrong. Until management changes, I will not return or recommend anyone to camp there. Unless the county changes something, eventually it will hurt the area.

Best chain of lakes anywhere

We’ve camped here several times over the years but we use the boat ramp at least weekly. The ramp is great, there are 6 connected crystal clear lakes with several more adjacent lakes. This year due to Covid, only seasonal campers were allowed which lowered my rating. In my opinion, site 41 is the best. You have your own little beach, and could pull your boat up to it.
