Peaceful and Beautiful

Large camp site with trees abs wide open area. # 48 was stent site recently made into a RV site with water and electric hook up. This site did not have sewer but there is a dumping station right on sight. WiFi only worked in the lodge and ATT signal was very weak. Owners are lovely friendly people and their kids help run the place too. Lake is calm and peaceful. Saw a lot of wildlife and heard the sounds of loons in the Am and evening. We wanted to extend our stay but work was calling. I wish we had a way to connect to WiFi or a hotspot in our camper. The we would have.

Great Spot to Camp

Found this gem of a campground while passing thru this area.

Nice quiet campground. This campground seemed to be mostly filled with RVs. We were tent camping and they had a well shaded, very clean and quiet area for us.

The owners were quick to return our phone call when trying to make a reservation.

Very friendly owners!

Private and peaceful

We had a very difficult time finding a place to camp for the night traveling from MN back to GA. We found this place and I’m so glad we stayed here. We got a site with water and electric to plug in our teardrop trailer. We really wanted to tent camp so we pitched our tent and started a fire.

The camp host was quick to respond whenever we needed something (we just needed some firewood and had questions about the restrooms Before making a reservation) and even though the restrooms were closed for covid, they did provide a port-a-potty for campers.

This place was quiet and peaceful and left me well rested. I wish this wasn’t a pit stop and I could’ve stayed for a few days! I’ll be back!

Spacious & relaxing Campground

We stayed in site #31 overnight while driving south with our teardrop trailer. The site was so spacious and treed for hammocks or tents or trailers. Fire rings and wood is available on site. While the bathrooms were closed due to Covid-19, porta potties were available for use if you didn’t have an RV with a bathroom. The owners of the campground were quick to respond when you left a message or needed something. We would stay here again if we come back through this way!
