Great little campground

We booked a weekend here for a soccer tournament we had in Verona, so we didn’t spend a lot of time on the property. The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful for us new to camping people. We booked online and they were also friendly when I messed up my reservation so thanks for that too. We booked in VIP 1, which is right next to the bath house. We wanted to be close to the showers (coin op). We figured since we’re at a sporting event that might be nice. Very quiet at night. We did have a little time to go fishing at the fishing pond. We didn’t catch anything but we had fun. The fishing pond is a ways from our camping area though. It would have been a long walk so we drove. WiFi is for a fee but it was fine. The fee wasn’t expensive (less than $5). No sewer hook up but there is a dump site so no big deal. Overall good stay.

Small grounds large sites

This is a small campground near Madison. Reasonable rates. Large VIP drive through sites. Small swimming area. Catch and release pond. Small office and bar. Clean bathrooms and showers. Just off major highway. Just south of Madison. Our site had a black walnut tree. The walnuts were dropping like little bombs. Attracted small biting flies- ouch. But we did collect tasty walnuts!!

A lovely park

We stopped for one night but the park was beautiful. The only draw back was that the bathrooms were small. The shower rooms were small too.

Great campground!

We love Badgerland! We stayed there a few times last year. Great owners who really care about their guests and campground. It's family-friendly and we are never board. We liked the tractor ride through the campground for Halloween and have a blast at bingo! Super clean bathrooms and showers if you need them. A nice little general store. There's also a bar but it was closed due to Covid. We're already booked for this year!

Fun campground

Mostly seasonal sites with a few reservable sites. Decent upkeep and pretty strict rules. Bar/restaurant on site but was not open yet during our stay due to covid rules.

Pride of Ownership

Wonderful campground within 10 minutes of  major freeway access. New owners Allison and Chris are very friendly, helpful and exhibit the pride of Ownership in every aspect of the campground. Cleanest restroom/showers I can ever recall at a campground. Very family and pet friendly with activities, lake and bar. Really enjoyed our overnight stay on a cross-country trip - highly recommend!
