Can’t believe this place is only $10 a night! Clean bathroom and nice space. I’d definitely return
Checked in to this quiet well kept KOA for very reasonable price with barely anyone in the park for one overnighter. There was a game room, store and DVD rental library. Very surprised to see pool/jacuzzi were clean & warm for nice soak (nice after a long haul in November) Talked to quite a few Alaskans that were passing through morning after at the clubhouse coffee social which was very pleasant while waiting for laundry! Daughter said shower was nice and hot. Not much more you could ask for.
We got in and checking in was very thorough! We headed to the pull through 30amp sites which are all to the left. Parked in end spot of the first row after the pool in tight spot( palm trees are close) and electric wasn’t working. This side is only one way streets so pulled out and headed to the right side of property which is all 50amp spots that are back in only. After two rounds around outer two lanes we found a good spot close restrooms. Bathroom are very clean, there’s great activities and Veterans Day event near city were awesome. We spent a lot time at pool which was awesome for us Northerners as that never happens in November. We love Palm Springs!
Favorite KOA. Staff is very nice and for sure helpful. There was clean bathrooms and hot showers. Space was very nice and campground was very well kept with little lots of activities for the kids to stay busy. City is so awesome with German touch. I would love to come again but during Christmas.
Serene clean place! We stayed few nights and had a blast. It was fun to go together with friends but it wasn’t crowded in summer. Staff were great. Bathroom clean and stocked despite being busy. Fun to check out beach and fly kites as it’s really windy. Make sure to bring sunscreen and hats, plenty of drinks.
Spots are great! Walking for tent camping is close about 50 ft but get here early as it’s very crowded. Lots of people fishing too so be careful of hooks in the water. We did a little hiking but not a ton of that to do here.
We we’re traveling and needed a spot near Austin, Texas and love Lake Bastrop. There’s two Campgrounds one South and one North. The right one for us was South since we didn’t want anything too primitive. Thankfully there is plenty of trees for shade. And the view of Lake Bastrop is phenomenal. We did the lakeshore hike which takes a while since it’s 6 miles. W rented a canoe from the office one day and really enjoyed that.
The views are amazing of the lake. We thought it was clean and well kept and were able to enjoy the spacing and the quiet. The kids enjoyed hikes in area and we even were able to have local family visit us as guests. Definitely will return again.
We took a four day trip to stay in cabin at this KOA because we love KOAs. The campground is clean and there’s lots to do however I would not return in summer as it was so hot in summer and there was no way to cool off in the cabins. We checked out early because we couldn’t handle it with two small kids.
We camped here for several days to get some rock climbing in at nearby spots. It was a great open campground for tent camping. It was quiet but slightly dusty. The bathrooms were clean and staff was nice. If you like hiking trails this is good area for it.
This was so peaceful. We tent camped for a week in the summer. Took nice long hike around the lake twice with the kids. The spots are huge, the toilets smell so bad though. Make sure to bring sanitizer definitely. The views in the morning make it worth it though.
We came here in summer and stayed in a cabin. It was clean and very spread out. We were among farms it seemed like and off the road so not much noise. This KOA compared to others didn’t seem to have a ton to do and was pretty dusty. It was fun though to be close enough to Bend to take some great hikes with the family.
We really love KOAs. This KOA is the best. It’s perfect for families because they have tons of lot of activities. The indoor pool was very clean and we enjoyed it several days. The kids played on the playgrounds and even our pup was happy with the trail walks. We visited Fort Stevens and the shipwreck on the beach and had so much fun doing it.
This is a favorite campground. The hikes nearby are fantastic in the fall because the foliage is vibrant and changing. Must go on the Lake Ingalls hike. Campground is clean and space is good for sure. Really enjoyed it.
We camped here in the summer and really enjoyed it, because it’s beautiful. Pacific Northwest is full of these beauties. The whole campground is full of trees. All well spaced out sites with room to stretch out. Serene and quiet while still being conveniently located close main road.
We stayed here and felt like it was so cool. The campground is clean, plenty of space and there was lots of historic spots to checkout. We didn’t have cell service the whole week. We had lots of bugs and fog but it’s Oregon and kinda typical lol the kids really enjoyed it and then walking the beach to check out the shipwreck too
Nottingham is so so beautiful especially for the hiking. You e got Mt. Hood nearby and a river. The tent camping is pretty secluded. We had a spot next to the river and it was so peaceful. The rangers directed us to our campsite and gave us hiking recommendations, which was so helpful.
The toilets were clean, and well stocked. It is easy to find but still far enough away not to hear traffic. This place is pretty perfect. Definitely go on this recommended hikes because the falls were spectacular.
The hiking around here is amazing and theres so many different things to do here. It’s close to the water, too which is really neat. They have a playground for kids, fields to play in and an awesome volleyball court. We will definitely come back once they reopen
Pretty cheap and very relaxing with plenty to do. There is an ice cream shop and mini golf really close nearby. The campground bathhouses were really clean and showers had nice hot water. The employees working were very kind to recommend some nice hiking in the area. Would definitely come back again.
The camper spots are really close together. There is a big field to play ride bikes walk dog etc . The beach is really nice and nearby and at low tide is so peaceful to take a walk. There’s group activities too which is great for the kids.
