Convenient to Mt Adams

Electric sites are bunched up in the front and need alot of attention. There are few level spots and it’s difficult to tell where to park for most of the sites. There was alot of small bits of litter on our site and the adjoining sites. The back area that does not have electricity was spacious and much more appealing. Bathrooms were clean. The campground is very reasonably priced and convenient to Mt Adams.

Beautiful Area

I went here with a bunch of friends and we had a really great time. The spots were specious and there was barely anyone there so it was quiet. Guler as a town is adorable and the scenery of the area is amazing. The bathrooms were nice and clean as was the campsite.

We wished we could have had a fire, but that's not really the campgrounds fault. We really missed the ambiance. Also, if you wanna fish the closest place is Goose Lake about 30 minutes down the road. It was really pretty and stocked so there were fish but wish it was closer.

A great activity while there is to visit the Ice Caves. They were truly amazing to see and I highly recommend it. Make sure to bring warm clothes, good shoes, and plenty of lights.

All in all I would 100% come back here.

Full service summer & primitive during winter

Great clean convenient campground at base of mount Adams and the perfect place to explore all the nearby ice caves in Spring. Site has clean bathrooms and fires are allowed. Only been here in winter so don't know how it is when no snow on the ground!

Such a Great Deal!

Stayed here after visiting friends in the area on their recommendation. The full hook-up sites are clustered at the entrance, but the rest of the campground is spaced out nicely with lots of trees and privacy. The bathrooms are clean. Bring coins for the shower.  No electricity at the sites, but each site has a water hook up. Dump is $10.

With my senior (55+) discount, I only paid $8 night to stay here. It's in town, but feels like you're out in the woods. There's a small stream that runs through and lots of great options to set up near it. I was here on a June weekend and while the full hook-up sites were full, there were only about 6 other campers in the rest of the campground.

Easy access to Gifford Pinchot activities. I will definitely stay here again.

Quiet, rarely full

After spending many weekends in this campground, I've definitely fallen in love with it.

The only time I've seen it anywhere near full was Labor Day Weekend when there's a community swap meet about a third of a mile away. Even then, there were plenty of sites to snag.

There are flush toilets and pay showers through mid September. After that, they bring in porta potties.

Sites have a 5 vehicle max, so they're good for groups. Each site has a water spigot. The campground is dog friendly.

No views of Adams from here, but a quick walk or bike ride away will provide some stunning views on a clear day.

Well maintained campground

The camp ground is well maintained and clean. There are showers, bring quarters if you want to take advantage of them. We enjoyed pitching our tent right next to the stream that runs through the camp, and checking out Goose Lake, about 6 miles away, as well as the natural bridges and ice cave.
