Sites are spacious with concrete pads. Loops make sure you are never far from a "comfort station" or bathhouse. From water park to horse rides to lots of evening activities, plenty to do here without going to any theme parks. Skip the Bingo and enjoy everything else!!!
The staff at this county park worked their butts off and hosted an amazing Halloween family weekend. Crafts, s'mores, fishing, kayaking, live music, treats for kids…amazing. Thanks to all of you. Will be back next year!
Every morning I drank coffee and watched dolphins play 10-15 feet away from me. Waterfront campsites are amazing. Tons of fish and Manatees. All the amenities you need plus spectacular scenario. Make a trip to Sandollar island, hike the fort or just find your own stretch of private beach. 4 days of lifetime memories…can't wait to go back
This state park is heavily wooded and offers direct access to the springs. Lots of wildlife (take precautions for racoons) and bring your mosquito repellent! Larger adjacent campsites that can accommodate multiple families. We bring extra gear like a kiddie pool to keep kids busy as springs a bit cold for them for any length of time. Bring bikes or kayaks. Bring everything you need as no stores close. No TMobile cell service.
One of the better maintained KOA campgrounds. Staff really cares and willing to do whatever it takes to help you have a great stay. There is even a hot tub! Grocery store nearby, which is really convenient. Good cell service and ok wifi. Have to drive to beach but so worth it! Super beaches and amazing water.
Had reservation but Drove in and drove out. Near I-95 but in sketchy neighborhood. Looks like most people living her permanently as lots of clotheslines and work trucks. Small store attached to office, showers and toilets. No shade. RVs packed in tight. Wife refused to stay here…and I agreed! No reason to book here. reason to book here.
Rustic KOA campground. Country store for basic needs but isn't open all the time. Tent and RV sites. Access to Little Diamond Lake. Great bass fishing. Wifi and cell service works.
Primitive tent camping at its best. Water available in campground along with latrines. Heavily wooded and lots of entry level trails to hike. Easy terrain and lots to see. Also did some geocaching along the trails here! Was here with group of Boy Scouts and they loved it.
Full services, great cell service, huge disc golf course, massive kids play area, nice pond with ducks and swans, lots of trails and bike paths. Full hookups and also a primitive campsite for tents.
So much to do here all year round. rafting, skiing, snowmobiles, even a sleigh pulled by reindeer! Great park as a base camp for adventures all across the valley. Helpful staff (seems like everybody knows someone that has what you need). Cell service spotty but scenery makes you forget about it.
Great place to camp during Rodeo. Need to book a year in advance. Super nice sites on the Yakima river. My parents rented a cabin and we're wowwed! Nice folks and awesome scenery. Power and water to tent site. Good cell service and wifi. Hope to stay again soon
Great clean convenient campground at base of mount Adams and the perfect place to explore all the nearby ice caves in Spring. Site has clean bathrooms and fires are allowed. Only been here in winter so don't know how it is when no snow on the ground!
Mt.Ranier National Park is just one stunning view after another. This campground is great as a destination or a jumping off point for bigger hikes or excursions. Bathrooms clean. No cell service. Campsites have picnic table and fire ring. Sites are small but perfect for tents. Many of the sites are closed due to falling tree danger. Hope they clear those out soon to make it easier to get a site here.
This campground in heart of SFL Horse Country. (Ocala is real horse country, but this is as close as you can get south of Orlando). Full hookups, table, plus laundry facilities. Great cell signal. Space to park one vehicle onsite. Good campground to use as jumping off point to SFL attractions.
Flew in to see vintage planes at airport. Make sure and eat at the Airport Diner…best food in town. Site up against levee to Lake Ocochobee. Nice place to walk and enjoy sights. Sites had power and water. Had to sleep with pillow on face as there are bright lights that stay on all night.
Grayton Beach is only one gem along 30 A. Huge park with hiking trails, kayaking, and sunsets to die for! We can't get enough of the fun, sun and hospitality of the panhandle. Sites have water and power. Sandy, large and somewhat secluded. Bring everything you need because no onsite store or even any store close.
Lots of room to roam here. Great mountain bike trails, lakes, woods, disc golf, flora and fauna. Plus amenities you don't often find like a large outdoor shooting range ( don't worry, it is quiet at night) and an RC airplane strip.
Tent sites are primative ( no water or power) but you have everything you need close by…even a 25/7 ice machine! Great pool, views are amazing. Lots of campers brought their boats here. Site was sandy but larger than expected. Great jumping off point for diving, kayaking or swimming with dolphins ( which is what we did).
We tent camped here. Site small and sandy but location is the key to this KOA. Right next to Lion Country Safari. We are used to hearing birds and frogs when we camp, but here it is lions…and other noises I was not able to identify. Weather great to explore park in late Winter. Kids loved it and we will be back!
Lots of day visitors to this park so mornings and evenings are nice and quiet. Have to drive to beach but it is close. Nice "space ship" pavilions…must have been built in the 50s. Everything you could want, including water taxis, is close and convenient. Kayak and canoe rental onsite. TMobile service works too!
