Site 29

This park can fit all sizes of rig and many sites are full hookup with 30/50a , water & sewer. Shaded trees help keep campers cooler. Winds pop up daily so watch your awnings.

This park us near Biggs Junction with truck stops by T/A and Pilot + several other stations with diesel.

Trail to the river

July 2020 - Great campground! All the tent sites were filled but they were allowing tent campers to stay in the RV spots. There are a few spots that have trails at the back of the site that lead to the river. It was great for relaxing after a long day. The RV spot had a water spout. Bathrooms…

Just off of the 26

Several campsites off Kiwanis Camp Road with some next to a stream. Just a few cars passing after Sundown, but generally quite and peaceful.

Just amazing

Got here Saturday and passed by quite a few cars to find a spot on the road. Little did I know I was parking next to a rushing creek and beautiful moss! Knock on wood, no rangers have passed by to ask me how long I’m staying or have been here. Exactly one hour from Portland and 2 bars of phone…

Noisier than expected

The rv campground accommodates 5 spots, which is nice, though spots are relatively close to one another. Unfortunately, between the sites and the river is a train track, with trains going by about every 20 minutes. It did not bother us too much during the night, but very noticeable during the day…

Great place for family or couples-quiet and clean

Stayed here a couple weeks before Memorial Day weekend (Thanks, Veterans!). Had the far back area to ourselves. Nearest other campers were four sites away. Lots of places to walk and ride bikes. A bit pricey, but it's up on the mountain so you are within an easy drive of hiking trails and other…

Rest stop

I'm not sure you can spend the night here. It's a rest stop with no overnight signs, idk if they mean for a certain part of the lot though and probably no one would hassle you

It’s closed now

Just a heads up, as of June 3 2021, there are signs everywhere saying there is a camping ban - day use only.

Very small campground

Drove here on our way back from another campground in the area and decided to stop. Not very many campsites, maybe 8 at the most. If you have a trailer there is not much room to turn around. Lots of roads and trails to explore in the area and the river runs right next to the campground.

Very peaceful campground

Camped up here this weekend. It’s not the greatest road getting up there. For the most part the road isn’t bad but I was hauling a camper and a 20’ trailer with dirt bikes and quads so for me wasn’t the greatest. They have toilets here that were pretty clean and fresh water from a well pump. River…

Beautiful campground along the Deschutes River in the Columbia Gorge

We usually cross the Columbia River into Washington state at Biggs Junction, Oregon. We don’t want to stay at Maryhill State Park in Washington as we had stayed there before. We found this campground on our Benchmark Oregon Atlas.

There are separate areas for RVs who want full hookups and those…

Great campgound near the OR/WA border

This is an update on a previous review I wrote.

We stayed here again this time in mid-May and it was completely full. Despite that, it felt peaceful and lovely.  We stayed in loop T with our van. Only $10 per site plus $8 for the reservation online. They allow vehicles up to 24 ft in this…

Great Campground!

Beacon rock main campground is pretty great! You have miles and miles of hiking which lead to a waterfall you can hop in and beacon rock. The sites at the main campground will cost $30 a night and there are around 20 spots. The spots are pretty close together and it definitely would not be ideal…

Clean, quiet camp ground

Great experience here, the grounds were clean and the host constantly working or cleaning. It was quiet too. It’s a first come first serve campground.
