Love this place! The ocean! The Lake! The River! Bike paths! Private sites! History! Disc Golf! Come here at least twice a year--best mid week.

This was a fantastic state park, very well planned. This is definitely a park if you have kids. There are plenty miles of paved bike trails. We did arrive after a bit of rain and the mosquitos were crazy bad. We enjoyed the nature trails and bike paths
Largest campground this side of the Mississippi! But you cant tell it's full of other campers as it is lush. Fully and beautifully forested. I stayed in a yurt! I honestly thought it would be empty but no it came with electricity, bunk beds, and a futon. As well as two chairs and a table. And a…

Big sites, lots to do in the park, lots to do outside the park, friendly staff, etc.
BIG campground with spots for all types of camping. Tons of walking, hiking, and biking trails. Bathrooms are kind of sparse so long walks to restrooms. Fun things to see at the beach with the ship and old military forts.

I was gonna call to make a reservation in until I looked at the pictures and seen the trump banner lol.. um no thanks
Fort Stevens is awesome. One of my most favorite campsites I've ever stayed at. It's so pretty, and it has awesome trails. Where we stayed it was only about a ten minute walk to the ocean. We also did some clamming on the beach which was super fun.
This campground is awesome, I highly recommend…
This is very well maintained state campground within walking distance of the beach. Very clean with all the amenities. Each loop is really quiet and shielded from the wind by the coastal forest.
Reservations on the phone were helpful and pleasant. Rest Rooms with showers are very clean all the time. Maintenance workers are busy about the park weekdays. Ice machine use is included. Picnic table under a 20-30 ft tree on every site. Use your Good Sam club discount. Drive-through and back in…
We were traveling through Washington on a busy holiday weekend - without campground reservations. There were virtually no boondocking opportunities on this part of our route - plenty of forest, but also lots of gates and “no trespassing” signs. We had just driven through the little town of South…
Great if you have kids, but not if you just want an overnight stop. Check in was very slow on the afternoon of Memorial Day. Got there at 5:00 and there was only 1 check in clerk, to check in and sell store products. By the time I got to the front of the line, there were 6 people waiting. Pull…
To be honest I didn’t have very high expectations for KOA campground. Everything that I had seen of their campgrounds seemed expensive for what they had to offer. We were quite surprised after our arrival to see all the different activities included for the kids. They had a inflatable pillow…
We stayed here a few weeks ago and had a great time! Friendly staff. Nice quiet place and easy access to the beach. We will definitely be back!
Fort Stevens is a fantastic state park facility. The campground is large and extensive with options for every kind of camper from tent spaces to yurts.
There are lots of trails to ride bikes on and nearby beaches to relax and enjoy. As well as a few places with military history displays.
