County Line RV Park

Great spots right on the Columbia River eight miles east of Cathlamet, WA. Clean restrooms, and shower. Electric for hookup and a dump station. Picnic tables and fire pits. Nice wide sites.

Terribly nice

The area is nice to the eye. No doubt.

Then reality begins. Its all sand. Everytime the wind blows, sand gets in everything not buttoned up. Tents, coolers, clothes, fishing reels etc.

Next all night long the " BRRRWAAAHHHH" of trucks start. Every 20 mins, all nite ,

" Brraahhhhh" of Jake breaks.

Showers are on the nasty side. We ran into town bought 2 large comet cleansers and scouring pads. After about 40 mins we realized the existing "stuff" on the shower surface is permanent.

Finally, at 5am the parade of cars, trucks, motorcycles begins. Fishermen all getting ready for the 40 spots available.

Next time I will pay attention to reviews .

They matter.

Good for fishing

When I think of camping, I think of wilderness, semi-privacyand a campfire.

Pros:

-Right on the Columbia River

-Very small site and Inexpensive

-you can fish from your campsite

Cons:

-Right on a busy Highway

-Very crowded spaces and no privacy

-No fires

-No more tent camping

This was a decent campground if you are interested in staying still and not bothered by a cramped no privacy site
