Description
Wauna Rural Escape is a great quiet location for overnight camping or a mini vacation located right off the main hwy, but you'd never know it! There is a historical dry cabin, a creek that runs through the back of the property and lucious year round evergreens. The property offers several off-grid spaces for tents, campervans, campers, trailers and RVs that allows you to sit and enjoy a morning cup of Joe looking directly across to the beautiful wild wetlands and forestry that will wrap you in a wonderful calm of nature and beauty before getting started for the day.
Located right outside the small rural town of Westport, Oregon. It’s just 3 miles from the local ferry (that takes you over to Washington), a beautiful well kept neighborhood park with boat ramps and docks, a gas station/convenience store and the local Berry Patch Restaurant, which is famous for its delicious pies, food, gift shop, and 24-hour vending machine stocked with pies for those late-night sweet cravings.
Want to explore more of the area? You're in luck! You are only 20mins to Clatskanie/Beaver Falls, 15 minutes to Knappa (home of the famous Logger’s Restaurant), 28 minutes to historic Astoria which is home of The Goonies, River Walk and several museums including the newly remodeled Maritime Museum and Warrenton is about 45 minutes west if you need to stock up at Walmart or Costco.
