Nice, secluded

Off the beaten path for sure. Only a couple of other campers there when we visited. No issue for our 2wd SUV. Quite a bit of hunters gunfire in the distance, but otherwise very peaceful.

Nice free spot

Hesitant to post a review for the simple fact that I don’t want more people to come across it 😂 it’s a great free spot to camp! There is an atv trail - so you will hear noise. But everyone is respectful and it’s quiet at night. Sites are decent size for tent camping. Dog friendly.

Nice little campground

No amenities other than a pit toilet and a gravel pad at each site. Not easy if you are pulling a trailer (I would not recommend that for any large trailers) but it was a nice place with awesome atv trails we’ll be going back

You get what you pay for.

A great staging point if you plan to tackle the multiple OHV/ATV trails in the area. If this is not your intent then the sounds of dirt bikes may interrupt your stay. Bottom line, it is free to stay here.

Neat area in the woods

Didn't camp here, but checked it out with hopes we could boondock here in a small RV... nope, just tents. Very cool little area though, very connected to nature!

Camping without amenities

if you don't mind a vault toilet and no electricity this campsite is nice for a day or two. Hidden on the out skirts of Woodstock, you will find a handful of campsites with a running stream. Overall not a bad place to camp.

Great Stay

Small and simple campground with a handle full of sites. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Sites are semi secluded from each other. Some sites have direct access to the Peter's Mill Run OHV complex. Vault toilet for all sites to share. No water, no electricity. Have to pack trash out. Sites were first come first serve. Free to camp.

We camped so we could spend two days on the OHV Trails with the Jeep. Had an incredible time. We'll be back.
