This is a really great view of the shanondoah river. Not really much to do but not a bad spot to spend lunch with the kids or grab a kayak.

This campsite is by far one of my favorite free campsites that Virginia has to offer. what makes Wolf Gap so speacial is the the 4 mile hike that leads to a rocky overlook of the valley. Plus if you looking for some piece of mind this campsite is isolated from the outside world. So pack the kids and spend a couple days in paradise.

Skyline Drive is amazing in itself with it's vast national Forest and wildlife that reside within. Mathew Arm is one of the first campgrounds that will encounter on your 130 mile drive through Skyline Drive. You only pay 15 dollars a night, the staff is super friendly, and you get a front row set to all the wild life action your heart can handle. Also the campground houses a trail that leads to a 100 foot waterfall.

if you don't mind a vault toilet and no electricity this campsite is nice for a day or two. Hidden on the out skirts of Woodstock, you will find a handful of campsites with a running stream. Overall not a bad place to camp.
