Wonderful place

We absolutely loved this park. We came here to dive at Lake Phoenix (they have a no pet policy this year) and have our pup with us. The staff was so nice. We were close to the front. They have full hookups. The sewage was a little weird to hookup but we figured it out. They have a bathhouse (we didn't use) a nice pool, laundry facilities, a little store, and trash in the back. The lake is beautiful and this was close to a lot of things. The front spot is are fully paved and require minimal leveling

Short Stay

The pictures are for sure not like the campground. I only needed one night so it wasn’t a big deal but it wasn’t maintained well at all. The volleyball courts were grown over, the basketball court had no hoops (not even the poles) and the grounds themselves weren’t well maintained. It seemed as though there were a lot of people that were permanent residents there but I wouldn’t want to actually vacation there.

Noisy crowded

Staff is nice and lake is nice but there are way to make permanent campers and the sites are not well maintained

Picture lake rv park

Heavy rain lately has some of the park pretty muddy. The staff are helpful, the spaces are close together. There's a drag race strip across the lake that's extremely noisy. Outsiders use the pool. The owners are working on expanding the park.

Agree with others

Ok for an overnight, not really a destination place. LOTS of long term campers, lots of construction workers staying here to work on jobs in area.

Decent but cramped and loud

The lake was beautiful and the price was nice however it's RIGHT beside the race track and the races go on till midnight. The sites are very close together and uneven. It would be a nice quick stop place on the way to a nicer camp but I don't recommend making this place the getaway campsite.
