Great place for a family

Go here every year. Clean bathrooms and amenities. Good access to hiking, Walmart, and water. :)

We live the layout and the fact our kids can ride their bikes around a circle always fairly near to us.

Staff is always on top of cleaning and helping with anything you need.

Quiet and semi-private…

Beautiful nature

Stayed this past weekend (fri & sat night) with our 4 & 6 year old and dog. Lovely wooded sites. We enjoyed walking around the campground, using the playground and playing giant chess & checkers! Easy 25 minutes to the Flume & Cannon mt. Site had water & electric and was big…

Good for the price

Great location, lots to do with the family, close to the caves and gorge, just a bit pricey

Peaceful and great location

A small campground, mostly tent campers. Sites varied in degree of privacy. Short access to the riverbed where you can swim and explore. Fresh water available but no dump station. Great location for hikes in Crawford notch.

Great for full timers.

Beautiful place really well maintained. Impressive so clean lots fun activities for children. But for us I couldn’t wait to leave. We are a quiet couple and this place is social And noisy non stop! Groups gather at various sites continuously. I think maybe because it’s a weekend IDK but I really…

Great campsite for climbers

Nice private campground. Bathrooms were clean and recently remodeled. Host is extremely nice and welcoming. We have stayed here on multiple occasions when in the Rumney area for climbing and biking.

Beautiful One Night Stay!

I was super lucky to snag a last-minute spot at this VT state park (my first one!).

There was even a fully built fire in the pit just ready to be lit when I arrived (I don't think this is normal!).

The sunset was gorgeous and it cleared up for a beautiful morning paddle around the pond.

Right place, but expensive.

This spot was located near Mt. Washington, which was what we needed, we booked late so we ended up here. It’s fine, full hookups, decent in and out, probably great views when it isn’t foggy. We found that the USFS park at Dolly Cobb had MANY open sites, the website just didn’t know it. So, if you…

Clean and quiet

Very clean and quiet campground mostly set up for RVs. All RV sites have water, sewer, and electric. Tent sites have water and electric. Toilets and showers were very clean but showers were coin op. A bit on the pricey side but you’re close to everything in the NEK.

Love the Loons

Campsites not too close. Very nice new bathroom but coin showers. No cellular with either Verizon or AT&T but there is limited WiFi at check in building. Nice hiking trails and babbling brooks.

Nice Lakeside Location

For fellow work from homers - Strangely Verizon has strong signal but bandwidth issues/very slow to stopped at times - not just me but confirmed by office rep. AT&T works better and u can do WebEx’s. WiFi does not reach entire campground but it’s decent when you get it (but overloads with eg…

Hike and water

Great campground well hidden between the river and the boulder loop trail. Perfect place to hike, relax by the water, then into a comfy compground.

Very spotty Verizon cell coverage and no TMobile service at all. Better coverage for both carriers near the top of the boulder loop trail.

Water…

Great campground

If you are looking to be secluded it's not for you, however, it is centrally located to attractions in the white mountains and Franconia. Short drive to The Lost River Gorge, Cannon Mountain, The Basin and other attractions. Lost of shopping nearby. The campground is very clean and updated. Laundry…

Like State Parks Used To Be!

When we first heard of the North East Kingdom of Vermont, we had no idea where people were talking about, but something idyllic and natural came to mind. Ricker Pond State Park fits beautifully into this landscape. Getting here isn’t direct or easy, but the reward is worth it. Leave your mobile…

  • Plenty of space for our little rig, but bigger ones might struggle a bit.
  • Wildflowers and butterflies abound. Some mosquitos, but not bad by Vermont standards.
  • Cute lean-tos along the lake for tent campers, too.
