Old 91 Dispersed

Nice, clean, secluded spot in a few juniper trees. Noise from highway audible so wear ear plugs. I would stay again.

It was a free place to crash for the night and convenient to the highway, at least. We stayed in a 24’ RV and had no trouble on the road or turning around. However we hardly slept from the loud traffic noise all night (unsurprising given the proximity to the road) and the area was unpleasant, with trash and broken glass and toilet paper strewn about. I regret we did not keep driving to some of the dispersed camping near Hurricane but it had gotten late.

Easy to find, right off the highway and tons of spots. A few other campers there on the night we stayed. Pretty warm at night even in late September

Easy to find for a quick overnighter! Lots of spaces

My RV was too big for the tunnel at Zion so I’m camping here for couple of days while I plan my next stop. I’m in a 26 footer A24 Thor

There was nobody here. I don’t see anyone it’s a Saturday night. There are many spots for a class a 34 foot motorhome to pull in and put your jacks down. I feel like I’m in the woods, but I’m not less than 200 yards probably from the freeway and I cannot hear the freeway. I love the spot.

We stayed here for 1 night recently.  The site itself was fine, though there was a bunch of trash all over. Enough room for our 39ft rig and toad.  The road getting back to it was so twisty and tight that we scratched up the side of our rig. On the way out, we laid our outdoor rug on the bushes to keep from scratching again, so it is possible to get back here, but be prepared to work around that obstacle. 

Also, there is a sign at the entrance warning that the area is used for "rodeo livestock" grazing, and to be cautious around them and not to approach them. We never saw or heard them, but it's something to be aware of.

Access is blocked off for construction

Turned left onto old HW 91 and it was just off the road. Some construction in the area, didn’t see any other sites.

Nothing too spectacular, but it made for a really nice, quick, and easy spot for the evening. Easy in and out. There were several places to stop and camp for the night. There was some trash in the areas, but not too bad. There were signs around that said it is used for grazing rodeo, livestock, and to be careful, and not approach them. However, I didn’t see any the night I was there  strong Verizon cell phone signal too.
