Great Campground near the water

Arrived on a Friday (July 2021) afternoon and a thunderstorm was passing through. It was kind of fun or should I say added to the outdoor experience. Camped in Loop C (C09) which has a great view of the reservoir. There are no hookups available...expect in Loop B which all sites in that loop have…

Big shade trees!

This RV Park has very nice big shade trees and lots of grass. If you get a space towards the back of the Park the road noise mentioned by others isn’t an issue. The spaces are close together or I would rate this a five! We were in Space 45 on the end so were able to take advantage of the parks edge…

Mountain View Camping

We stayed at the Mountain View campground. I was glad I had a back-in site around the edge of the loop. I loved the view. The pull through sites in the middle were super close together that left little room for slide outs and entry/exit from the trailers unless you were in the end. Each site has a…

Nice large spaces

There are two RV areas; one is Beach area, the other is Mountain View area. We stayed in the Mountain View area. The spaces are large, level, and easy to get into. I think they all have electricity and water. They are paved, as are the roadways. There are picnic tables and fire pits at each site.…

South Fork Fun

This campground is pretty nice. There are vault toilets and dumpsters throughout the camp. The loops are nice for walking the dogs, and there is access to the river on loop b. We were in site 1, which was super nice and shaded. It looked like that was the only campsite on Loop A with significant…

Great Family Friendly and Clean

Wow. What a beautiful site right next to a marina area. Very clean and good smelling bathrooms. We got a Sandy site and could sleep on the sand. Tables and grill and pit at every site.

Beautiful area and lake! Close to the town of vernal. 20 miles outside dinosaur National monument. Staff helpful. Bathrooms clean, nice shower areas! Not sure whether it was usual to have so much wind in the area, but good thing our tent was well secured! Had to stow test of the gear in the car so…

Site 14 Not a Double Site

This is a beautiful campground with lots of trees and plenty of shade. The river is a short walk away. Campground spacing is excellent. Site 14 is reportedly a double site which is not the case. It is a nice big open site but putting two trailers there is not feasible. If you’re planning a trip…

4th of July 2021

Spent 4th of July weekend at China Meadows. It’s a pretty great spot. We didn’t have reservations and it wasn’t crowded at all. There were a lot of bugs, but that’s expected when camping next to the water. Standard pit toilets.

This a a beautiful site with great people and friendly staff. The river is hard to get to but pleasant to listen to. The Velvet Ash was blooming so it looked like snow in July.

Showers are clean and well kept, the pool and hot tub are great. We were allowed fires. People were there with dogs…
