Fantastic Campsite

We arrived 6/22/21 just passing through the night heading towards Grand Teton. We got there around 6pm. We got a campsite right on the water. The site was beautiful and bathrooms were clean. Hot showers were a definite plus. They have floating docks you can swim out to and boat, paddle board, and kayak access. We would definitely stay here again! We slept in our tent while our grandparents had their travel trailer which in length of 50 ft the space was plenty for two vehicles and the travel trailer.

Not dog-friendly

I reserved four nights at Lowe beach so I could hook up to electricity and be close to the water with my lab. I arrived at 4pm the first day and we played in the water several times before I saw the “ No Dogs on beach” signs. park personnel kicked us off the beach the next morning and said dogs aren’t allowed anywhere near the water at this campground. Another camper chimed I’m trying to start an argument with me. Other campers have left their dogs tied-up and whining in their campsites to take their kids down to litter on the beach all day. My campsite reeks of piss. Staying one more night because it’s 100 degrees and it’s too hot to pack up today. The dog policy is not obvious on the website or stated in my reservation confirmation. If you don’t ride a jet ski in your wrap-around mirrored glasses you might not fit in here.

Good for early season camping

The campground isn’t well maintained. In the summer months this campground is way too hot but it’s great for an early season camp out. It’s over priced by a lot but worth it if you’ve just got to get out.
