Dispersed camping along Morrell Cua requires high-clearance vehicles to navigate the rough forest roads leading to scattered sites. The US Forest Service manages this area within Fishlake National Forest, where campers spread out among the trees rather than clustering in designated spots. No pets are permitted at this location.
Sites lack amenities like water, restrooms, or trash collection, so visitors must pack out all waste and bring their own supplies. The elevation and forest setting can mean cooler temperatures even in summer months. For those wanting developed facilities, Forsyth Reservoir sits 5.3 miles west with more traditional camping amenities.
