The access road from Highway 89 runs 8.4 miles, with BLM land beginning at mile 3.1 and a right-turn junction at mile 6.4 that's easy to miss. The road is rough and rocky throughout, and while AWD SUVs manage it, towing a trailer or large RV carries real risk. Dispersed sites sit near the trailhead and along the access road itself. No water, toilets, dumpsters, or fire rings are on-site, and there's no signage at the trailhead. Cell coverage is strong. Tent campers and truck campers are the best fit here. Gould's Rim Trail is another nearby option for those wanting a different setup among the campsites near BLM Land — St. George Field Office.
