Awesome place to catch some dark skies

Jordanelle State Park is a good place to go for astrophotography if you don't have 4 hours to drive out of the city into the boonies. Gets reasonably dark there at night especially if you have time to hunt around for a good spot. There are also bathrooms everywhere so it makes for an easy campout…

Great location, Clean campground

We stayed here in mid October and it was beautiful and chilly. The campground is super clean and very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again, except that the spot we were in had a huge slope to it and our 30’ travel trailer and truck BARELY fit on the asphalt pad.

Wonderful state park!

What a neat state park! Lots to do here. Hiking, biking, boating, swimming, and just strolling around the place. The staff was GREAT! Very friendly and courteous. Each area has there own camp host, if you have any issues, which is nice. Ed and his wife were ours for the 2 wks. we were there. Nice…
