Davis Canyon Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at Davis Canyon Campground, which sits along St. Charles Creek in Cache National Forest and runs $60 per night. The road down to the creek can get steep and may require high-clearance or four-wheel-drive vehicles after rain, so low-clearance rigs should plan accordingly. RVs are limited to 30 feet. Amenities include a vault toilet and picnic tables, with campfires and pets permitted. Anglers have direct creek access from the sites. Campers should note that mosquitoes and horseflies can be aggressive near the water, particularly in late summer, making insect protection a practical necessity. Those fishing St. Charles Creek will find Porcupine Campground and St. Charles Campground among the nearby alternatives in the canyon corridor.

Mean host & Mosquito Infested!!

Camped July 31st-August 1st. First off the host (old grumpy guy) was a complete asshole to my husband and I. Right when we showed up and started setting our tent up he came to collect money and freaked out at us when we didn’t fill out the card the way he wanted it. 2nd of all the MOSQUITOES WERE HUGE AND SO AGGRESSIVE!! Got attacked the entire time we couldn’t even relax at all. As well as the horseflies. If you even tried to be by the river for a second your basically getting hauled away by them. Will never go back.

Another Great Site by the River!

Aother great site along the St charles Creek in st Charles Canyon.  It has the same amenities fire pit, picnic tables and a vault toilet.  The road down to the campgroundand the river is kind of steepand mat only be suitable for high clearance 4wd vehicles after a rain.  There is a large gravel area lower down and some campsites right after the signage that have decent shade.  This site provides great access for fishing!
