Great place to camp

We stayed only one night to be closer to Zion. Our class B camper van made it fine on the uneven terrain. Just go slow. The snow had melted from the previous day by the sun so it didn’t affect us. Easy to find a spot. Beautiful sun rises! Definitely recommend.

It’s ok

We stayed for a weekend. Not sure I would stay longer than that. The dump area for RVs/vans is in a very inconvenient place. You have to have a long hose to reach it. However the thing that really bothered us was the amount of dog poop around the dump and trash area. It looked like it hadn’t been picked up in a few weeks. Granted this wasn’t peak time but still. There are bags to use right next to the bathroom. The showers also hardly had any hot water when we tried to use them. We’ve been to plenty of places and haven’t had a problem. We only saw the host the first day we came. He didn’t even know we had a reservation. He was nice and gave us all the information like WiFi password.

Great location

Super easy to find, the plots were big with a fire ring. Didn’t feel on top of each other. We have a class B van and made it fine even with the rough roads and snow and ice. It was night time so we took the first available site. The sunrise in this area is beautiful. Definitely worth staying if you’re trying to go to Zion.

Easy and convenient

It’s off season for being in this RV park but it was perfect for a quick stop over. The check in was quick and easy. The staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The facilities were clean. The hook ups worked great even in the snow. We weren’t bothered by the train noises as other reviews stated. This place was close to a lot of down town spots. The KOA has night time security and the bathrooms all have codes to get in, which is nice. Would definitely recommend.

Easy Camping

Great spot, not the easiest to find with google maps but we managed. Our site was nice and secluded. Site 51 easily fit 3 tents and 2 cars. Definitely beware of chiggers and ticks! Deet is necessary. There are grocery stores close by like Walmart about 20 minutes away. The beach is nice and clean. We rented canoes near the beach. We were told not to go in the water outside of the roped off area where the life guards are because of the algae. Overall would recommend for a weekend. Bathrooms were clean and had hot water for showers in August.
