Gooseberry Mesa BLM Dispersed near Virgin

Gooseberry Mesa rises above the Virgin River corridor in southern Utah's BLM country, and this dispersed area sits right at its edge — close enough to the rim that at least one site backs directly to the canyon drop. The approach follows Gooseberry Mesa Road off the Apple Valley highway, with a washboard stretch early on and a short, dipping spur to the sites that rewards high-clearance rigs and warrants extra care after rain. A handful of spots cluster together near the Windmill Trailhead, putting mountain bike singletrack essentially at camp.
