Rows of sites stepping up a hillside slope, with some facing out toward Fish Lake, define the layout at Mackinaw Campground in Fishlake National Forest. The campground draws boaters and anglers primarily, and fills quickly during summer. Sites are drive-in, with a 35-foot RV limit, and reviewers have flagged road access as worth noting before arrival. Amenities include toilets, showers, a dump station, and picnic tables. Reservations are available, and pets are welcome, making this a reasonable base for those pursuing pet-friendly camping near Fishlake National Forest on the water.
