Managed by the BLM's Moab Field Office, Cisco Takeout sits at the end of the Westwater Canyon stretch of the Colorado River, functioning primarily as a boat takeout point rather than a dedicated campground. The site has a parking lot, a picnic pavilion, and ADA accessibility, but overnight camping is minimal here. Visitors arriving by boat may find a handful of campers staged for early morning launches. Paddlers running Westwater who want a more developed overnight stop should consider Fish Ford Recreation Site, roughly 3 miles south. Access is boat-in only.
Description
Terminus for Westwater boat trip.
